PFR and UNHCR Conduct Community Outreach Activity for Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Nyamata Town

Nyamata, Rwanda – PFR, in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), is currently conducting a community outreach activity in Nyamata Town to engage refugees and asylum seekers on key protection issues and available support services.

The initiative aims to strengthen awareness among community members about their rights, available protection mechanisms, and pathways to access essential services. Through interactive discussions and information-sharing sessions, participants are provided with practical guidance on protection concerns and available assistance.

The outreach activity also serves as a platform to foster dialogue, identify community needs, and ensure that refugees and asylum seekers receive timely and accurate information on services designed to support their safety and well-being.

PFR and UNHCR remain committed to promoting the protection, inclusion, and empowerment of refugees and asylum seekers through community-centered approaches that enhance access to information and essential services.

Together, we continue to build informed, resilient, and protected communities.
