Strengthening Partnerships for Sustainable Reintegration
On 20 August 2026, PFR and Hoffnungs Träger conducted a courtesy visit to the Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS) Headquarters. During the visit, the PFR Executive Director and Ms. Gabriele met with the Commissioner General and Deputy Commissioner General of RCS to discuss strengthening collaboration and institutional partnership.
The discussion highlighted several initiatives supported by Hoffnungs Träger in Rwanda, including the “From Correctional Facility to Community” project implemented by PFR-CEJP in eight correctional facilities across the country.
All participants expressed appreciation for the strong partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation aimed at promoting successful rehabilitation and reintegration outcomes.
