About Bishop John K. Rucyahana

Bishop John Rucyahana is a chairman of PFR board, bringing with him a wealth of experience, wisdom, and dedication to our mission. Born in Rwanda in 1945, Bishop Rucyahana has been a pivotal figure in the country's journey towards healing and reconciliation following the tragic events of the 1994 genocide Against Tutsi. Throughout his life, Bishop Rucyahana has exemplified a profound commitment to promoting peace, forgiveness, and understanding among communities. His tireless efforts have played a crucial role in fostering reconciliation and rebuilding trust among Rwandans from diverse backgrounds. In addition to his work in reconciliation, Bishop Rucyahana has been deeply involved in humanitarian initiatives and development projects aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable populations, particularly survivors of the genocide and orphaned children. As a member of our board, Bishop Rucyahana's guidance, insight, and compassion are invaluable assets to our organization.
