Gashora, December 10, 2025 — The Emergency Transit Mechanism (ETM) in Gashora, in partnership with the Ministry in Charge of Emergency Management (MINEMA), UNHCR, the host community, and various partners, proudly marked Human Rights Day and the conclusion of the global campaign 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.
The event brought together key stakeholders, humanitarian actors, and community representatives to reaffirm their commitment to ending gender-based violence (GBV) and promoting human rights for all, with a special focus on refugees and vulnerable populations.

The Emergency Transit Mechanism in Gashora provides temporary protection and assistance to refugees and asylum seekers evacuated from high-risk situations, ensuring safety, dignity, and pathways to durable solutions.
