PFR Supports Umuganda Activity to Restore Road Access at Mugombwa Refugee Camp
PFR successfully conducted an Umuganda community activity at Mugombwa Refugee Camp, bringing together refugees, community leaders, and partner organizations. The activity focused on rehabilitating the road leading to Mugombwa Primary School, which had become severely damaged due to recent heavy rains.
Restoring this road is essential to ensuring safe and reliable access to education for the school’s learners. Beyond infrastructure improvement, the initiative strengthened community cohesion, encouraged collective responsibility, and reinforced resilience within the camp.
