PFR Distributes SOSOMA  in Kigeme Refugee Camp

Kigeme Refugee Camp, Rwanda – Today, Prison Fellowship Rwanda (PFR) distributed SOSOMA to 140  refugees, including persons with disabilities, elderly individuals, and beneficiaries receiving Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) services in Kigeme Refugee Camp.

The distribution aimed to provide essential nutritional support to some of the camp's most vulnerable community members, helping to improve their well-being and strengthen their resilience. The beneficiaries included refugees facing various challenges that increase their vulnerability and require continued community support and care.

The activity reflects PFR's ongoing commitment to promoting dignity, inclusion, and the well-being of vulnerable populations. By supporting persons with disabilities, older persons, and individuals with psychosocial needs, PFR continues to contribute to a more inclusive and caring environment within the refugee community.

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the support, noting that the assistance will help meet their nutritional needs and improve their quality of life.

PFR remains dedicated to working alongside partners and refugee communities to ensure that the most vulnerable individuals receive the support they need to live with dignity and hope.

Dignity, care, and inclusion remain at the center of our work. Together, we ensure that no one is left behind.
