Prison Fellowship Rwanda and Partners Provide 125 Goats to Strengthen Family Livelihoods
Prison Fellowship Rwanda (PFR), through its Livelihood Program, in partnership with HoffnungstrÀger and alongside other supporting partners, has provided 125 goats to help families strengthen their livelihoods, improve food security, and build economic resilience.
The latest distribution took place in Bugesera, where families received goats as part of an integrated approach that combines small livestock farming with home-based gardening.
The initiative promotes sustainable household production by enabling families to use goat manure to enrich their garden soil and support crop growth. As the goats reproduce, families also have opportunities to expand their livestock assets, generate income, and meet other essential household needs.
Beyond providing livestock, this initiative seeks to empower families to make productive use of available resources, improve their well-being, and work towards greater self-reliance.
Through its partnership with HoffnungstrÀger and the support of other partners, PFR continues to promote practical livelihood solutions that help families build stronger, more resilient futures.
125 goats. Growing opportunities. Stronger families. Sustainable livelihoods.
