PFR Organizes Friendly Volleyball Match to Promote Unity, Teamwork, and Community Awareness – 25 February 2026

Prison Fellowship Rwanda (PFR) organized a lively and engaging volleyball match between Partners and refugees as part of its broader efforts to strengthen collaboration, encourage healthy lifestyles, and promote psychosocial well‑being within the community.
The match showcased high levels of energy and sportsmanship from both sides. The refugees demonstrated remarkable teamwork and secured a 3–0 victory. Their performance highlighted the role of sports in building confidence, unity, and healthy community interactions.

A parallel awareness campaign focused on:
- Educating youth and adults on the risks associated with drug and substance abuse

- Strengthening community‑based prevention efforts and referral pathways
The event concluded in a positive, uplifting atmosphere, reinforcing unity and commitment to continued activities that promote well‑being, collaboration, and awareness within the community.
